QuarterWave Antennas need a metal ground place. If using a steel roof grind the paint off for a good ground. see pic. on the top side install the large treaded nut with the oring down. see pic. TIP in most cases the bigger the ground plane the better. Our small ground plane we sell is bare minimum and made for smaller formula cars with fiberglass bodies and limited space. Rest is simple. Dont cut or shorten the cord and use only the antenna that comes with the kit.
